Day 1
DAY 1 - Arrive London

Welcome to Great Britain. Arrive London, the vibrant capital of the British Empire, an amazing and constantly evolving city in the world.

On arrival at the airport, meet our chauffeur who will be holding the placard with our company’s logo and your name on it. He will guide you to your vehicle and be with you till the last of your tour. Load your luggage and proceed towards your hotel.

Upon reaching your hotel, check-in and relax (check-in timings: 2 pm onwards).

In the evening, proceed for Swaminarayan Temple at Neasden. Popularly known as the 'Neasden Temple’, the Mandir is a traditional place of Hindu worship designed and constructed entirely according to ancient Vedic architectural texts – using no structural steel whatsoever.

Day 2
DAY 2 - London – City Tour + Madame Tussauds (B)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.

Later, depart for a guided half day city tour which gives you the opportunity to discover London. We take you on a guided tour of St Paul's Cathedral, Sir Christopher Wren's masterpiece with its magnificent dome.

The Beefeaters who guard the Tower will regale you with stories of its past. We will visit the Crown Jewels, including the magnificent solid-gold crown used at the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, the enormous Cullinan diamonds and the extraordinary Koh-I-Noor.

In the evening, visit Madame Tussauds with Marvel Super Heroes 4D experience. For over 250 years, Madame Tussauds London has stunned guests with amazingly life like wax figures of some of the world's most famous faces.

DAY 3 - London – Day free at leisure (B)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.

Rest of the day is free at leisure to explore the city on own.

Day 4
DAY 4 - London – Paris (B)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.

Later, check-out and depart to board your train for Paris by Eurostar.

On arrival in Paris, 'The City of Light', you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Upon reaching your hotel, check-in and relax (Check in timings: 2 pm onwards).

Later in the evening, proceed for the Midnight Lido show (optional).

Day 5
DAY 5 - Paris - Paris city Tour – Eiffel Tower – Seine River Cruise (B)

Enjoy buffet breakfast at the hotel.

Later, proceed for your city tour. Marvel at the finest Parisian sights – the Champs Elysees, Alexander Bridge, Invalides, Arc de Triomphe, Concorde Square, Opera House and several others.

Next, you will visit the famous Eiffel Tower (3rd level) and later embark on your cruise on the River Seine where you will pass under some of Paris's most romantic bridges.

Day 6
DAY 6 - Paris – Euro Disney Park (B)

Enjoy buffet breakfast at the hotel.

Today, experience an exciting day at the amusement park. You may choose between Disney Park and enjoy the several rides OR visit the Disney Studios and be astounded by the outstanding stunt shows, watch a film being made and see real-life sets used for creating blockbuster movies.

Day 7
DAY 7 - Paris - Geneva (B)

Enjoy buffet breakfast at the hotel.

Later, proceed to Geneva and on arrival, check-in to your hotel.

In the afternoon, discover Geneva through the world's peace-making organizations. Hear all about the peaceful site and diplomatic places such as Red Cross, UN, UNICEF and WTO. Enjoy the beautiful shores of Lake Geneva and visit its famous attraction Jet d'Eau Fountain and the Flower Clock.

Explore Geneva’s old town, where you will be taking a step back in time with Saint Peter's cathedral: known as the church where John Calvin gave his inspiring sermons during the mid-16th century. The imposing Romanesque-Gothic church with a neoclassical facade still dominates the centre of the international Swiss town.

On this stroll, you will also explore Place Bourg-de-four, original market place, the arsenal and the town hall; lose yourself in the grandeur and beauty of this culturally influential town.

Day 8
DAY 8 - Geneva – Engelberg (B)

Later, proceed to visit Montreux and in the afternoon visit La Gruyere and castle.

Arrive Gruyere and visit the castle, a journey across eight centuries of architecture. You’ll find views of the Saane Valley from the picture-perfect medieval town, then learn about the town’s famous cheese at your first stop of the day, a local cheese factory.

Follow the history and production of Gruyère cheese from its origins to the modern day on a tour, followed by a cheese tasting.

Continue to the 13th-century Gruyères Castle, a Swiss heritage site, to explore the town’s medieval heritage—you can also see three capes from the “Order of the Golden Fleece,” captured in the 15th century Battle of Morat. After visiting the castle, you’ll have one hour to explore the town’s narrow, cobblestone streets on your own, before meeting back up with your driver for the trip to Cailler chocolate factory in Broc.

Discover some of the secrets behind the historic Swiss chocolatier, and finish the day with a tasting of Cailler chocolate. This tour concludes with return transfer to Montreux, and drop-off at your accommodations in Engelberg.

Day 9
DAY 9 - Engelberg – Mt. Titlis (B)

Today we head towards the mountains. We take you on one of the most memorable experiences of your Europe tour – visiting Mt. Titlis. Adventure awaits you in a sensational cable-car ride up to Mt. Titlis. Marvel at the world’s first revolving cable-car ride, a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Remain spellbound as you ascend the snow-clad mountains. Experience the snow and ice on top of Mt. Titlis, also ride, ‘Ice Flyer’. At 3,020 meters a breath taking panorama unfolds.

Later, visit Lion Monument and the Wooden Chapel Bridge.

Day 10
DAY 10 - Engelberg – Rhine Falls and Zurich (B)

Enjoy buffet breakfast at the hotel.

Today we will visit Rhine Falls. Your coach will pick you up from hotel lobby and will head towards the fantastic nature spectacle Rhine Falls, Europe's largest waterfall. It is only 23 metres high but has an impressive width of 150 metres and an average of 25'000 cubic feet of water per second (700m3/sec).

Later, visit Zurich city. Discover the awarded city with the world's best quality of life. Pass by the National Museum, the shopping avenue Bahnhofstrasse and Zurich's famous financial district. During a picture stop at Enge harbour, you enjoy beautiful vistas of the crystal-clear Lake Zurich before you continue along the lake.

Day 11
DAY 11 - Engelberg – Jungfrau and Trummelbach Falls (B)

Enjoy buffet breakfast at the hotel.

Later, depart on an excursion from Engelberg to Jungfraujoch- Top of Europe. This memorable train trip from Interlaken Ost takes you via Lauterbrunnen and Wengen to the Kleine Scheidegg, at the foot of the famous Eiger North Wall.

Then ascend by the Jungfrau Railway to the magnificent mountain world of eternal ice and snow, Jungfraujoch-at 3454mts, the highest railway station in Europe.

Visit the Ice Palace, where you see a beautiful display of sculptures made of ice and Sphinx Terraces offering breath-taking views of the Aletsch Glacier, the longest glacier in the Alps.

Later, visit Trummelbach Fall, a series of 10 waterfalls in a cave-like environment, is hidden inside a mountain in the Lauterbrunnen Valley. It's a natural UNESCO World heritage site, and rightly so. Return to Engelberg.

Day 12
DAY 12 - Engelberg - Lugano (B)

Enjoy buffet breakfast at the hotel.

Later, check-out and transfer to Lugano. On your way to Lugano, we pass through an 18 Km long tunnel of St.Gothard which is known as Gothard Pass. Your driver will take you to the Swiss border to the Italian-speaking town of Lugano. Soak up additional time here to explore independently, browsing the local shops for Swiss chocolate, fine luxury goods and clothes, or checking out the scene by the lake.

For a little art and culture, admire Bernardino Luini’s Renaissance masterpiece, Passion and Crucifixion, with a visit to the Chiesa di Santa Maria degli Angioli.

Later, depart for Swiss miniature in Melide. In an area of 14,000 m2, visitors can admire more than 120 models at scale of 1:25 which represent the most important buildings, monuments and transportation means in Switzerland.

A 3,560m long model railway with 18 trains runs through the park. It is fascinating to watch the variety of trains that run along the tracks, cross bridges and stop by the stations. Boats are also in motion on the lakes, cable cars and funiculars go up and down the mountains and cars move along the highway. For garden lovers, the whole park is beautifully decorated with a selection of 1,500 different plants and over 15,000 flowers. There are several coin operated rides for children.

DAY 13 - Lugano - Milan – India (B)

Later, check-out and transfer to Milan Airport for your flight to onwards destination or back to India with memories which will last a life time.

Frequently asked Questions

How fit do I need to be to do this trek?

Annapurna Base Camp is a Grade B or a moderately difficult trekking route. So any fit person can do this trek, even if you do not have any previous experience. You should be aware of what to expect and mentally prepare for it. Then, as long as you will to, you can.

How long do we walk every day when doing Annapurna Base Camp trekking?

On average, you walk about 4 to 6 hours per day. One or two days can be as less as 3hrs and one or two days can be as long as 7hrs.

What is the highest altitude reached in this trek?

The highest altitude reached is 4190m. This is the elevation of Annapurna Base Camp. ABC is the highest we will climb in this trek.

What about battery charging and hot shower facilities?

Yes, you can charge batteries en route. Charger should be brought. There are hot shower facilities as well. You may have to pay certain amount for both ($1-$2). Negotiate. Also, hot water facility could be free at lower elevation.

Are there ATMs on the way to Annapurna Base Camp?

No. There are no ATMs on this trek route. You will have to draw enough cash in Pokhara or Kathmandu. There are a number of ATMs in these cities. Everything is paid in Nepali rupees. So money should be exchanged before the start of the trek.

What about internet access?

Yes. Internet can be accessed in most places. Sometimes, there might be some technical problems. Internet in Nepal is not as fast as you are used to and at times you can just lose connection.

Is it necessary to hire Guides/trekking agency for Annapurna Base Camp trekking?

Not really. It depends on you. If you want, ABC trekking can be done independently. You could hire a guide and a porter by yourself instead of going through an agency or not hire a guide at all. Although, not having a guide can be a little problematic during off season. It really depends on you. Is it your first time in Nepal? How confident are you of being able to find your way around? How pressed on time are you? If you go through an agency, it will be costlier but everything will be planned. You will only have to come, trek and return.

How much do guides and porters cost?

For Annapurna region, pay for guides range from $20 to $30 per day and porters take $15 to $25 per day.
